Artist in Residence Programme
Our annual Artist in Residence finished with an exhibition in our school hall of the found taonga each child created with our artist, Beau Cotton. The sharing of a week of creativity with our community has been a feature of the Artist in Residence programme for 27 years. There have been so many different creative endeavours, each with their own magic. The children enjoyed working with Beau. Seeing their taonga on display in the Hall was very exciting. The squeals of delight were so infectious on Sunday. Thank you for coming to support your children and The Arts. The passion of our Kapa Haka group and Marimba band is also a taonga to celebrate. Our thanks to the West Harbour Arts Charitable Trust for giving us access to working with an artist.
