Marine Meter Squared

Last week we took part in a 'Marine Meter Squared" survey where we looked carefully at living creatures in Mussel Bay. 
Jennie from Enviroschools and Sally Carson from the Marine Centre introduced the topic to us and helped us set up and carry out our surveys. We worked with our buddies and found out that all sorts of living things reside in our bay. 
Jennie is coming back to work with Rūma Mangō this week and we will be entering the data we collected during the survey. The idea is to do more surveys in the future to look at the general health of our bay and things that we can do to make sure the living creatures in it thrive.
