Boating

 

Our school is sited on the shores of the Otago Harbour, allowing it to be perfect for learning in, around and on the water.  Our aquatics and boating programme is a real feature of our learning.  Ākonga from Year 5 - Year 8 experience using a variety of water craft including optimist yachts, stand up paddle boards, kayaks, row boats, and Canadian canoes.  Our community supports this learning by sharing their knowledge and skills through volunteering in various capacities on the water and shore to empower a love of water.
