Magic happened over the holidays when a new basket swing was added to our school playground equipment. We all know that magic isn’t what made this swing appear.
The arrival has happened because of the work of many. Our PTA has organised fundraising for several years, grants were applied for by Mrs Hill and Angela Cuming, whānau supported the fundraising and then turned up with very little notice to move 12 square metres of bark so that the swing was safe.
We especially thank The Lion Foundation for the grant they gave us so that we could realise a long-held dream to increase and add to our playground facilities
