Poetry Workshop with Jenny Powell

 At the end of last term, 10 of our senior students (Cora, Emma, Nova, Isabella, Ness, Brendan, Charlie, Aceni, Lucy and Maggie) spent a morning working with Jenny Powell who is the City of Literature South D Poet Lorikeet.

Together the children each created a ‘wind’ poem.

The poems are being sent to the Morrin Centre in Québec City, Canada, as part of a Poetry Pen Pals exchange.

The centre is absolutely delighted to be receiving them and plan to display them in the centre.
