The final week of term one was our biennial Outdoor Education Week, where all pupils got to experience various outdoor activities on-site, in the community, and, for the Seniors, camp at Bannockburn.
The Year 7&8 Camp at Bannockburn was very successful and the pupils had numerous opportunities to experience new things and live in a different environment together for the week. The weather held out for us and we managed to accomplish everything that we had planned to do. I’ll leave it to my kids to give you their thoughts on their experiences and add some photographs to illustrate the fun!
I want to extend a big thank you to Rob Duffy (our bus driver), Barry Scott, Jonny Goldsmith, Mike Wheeler, Billy Allan, Naz Noronha, Ian Landreth, Marnie Waaka, and Brooke Flannery for assisting me throughout the week, and ‘making our camp work’. Nga mihi nui guys!
